A pocket-sized logbook for tiny and delicate things, please take it carefully....
to let go and leave behind
the strength of one
a chance to practise patience
since growing roots
to soak in surroundings
stillness and tension
deeper breathing
a stolen moment
honing instincts
quiet surveillance
on and on
still moving
for shelter, warmth, hunger
laden with gear
significant weight
a ruined landscape
the hours relentlessly claiming more
jaw set against the wind
ever onward
gears locked in position
